BP is being let back into the Gulf of Mexico. I found out about this yestarday. I posted a comment. It reads:
“Of all the sense that is made in the world, this does not make any of it.”
How can it be possible that after a huge disaster, we’re still trying to exploit this resource from the beneath the ocean bed? How come we still allow money to drive these decisions? How can we still risk another massacre like that? How the hell is this possible?
I truly am sad. This is utterly unbelievable. I do not condone this and am tired of stupidity running the world.
I don’t believe we don’t have the necessary resources or technology to replace the internal combustion mechanisms that turn the cogs of this world. We can manage an adaptation that will allow all the people involved to keep their jobs. We can have a harmless, symbiotic relationship with our planet. Why don’t we?
